Minutes HOA Board Meeting September 10, 2024
· Call to Order 7:00
· Pledge
· Roll Call: All present Joe Weston Via Zoom
May Business
· Drainage pipe replaced between 136 and 138 Sher
· Repair of cracked wood on front steps will be completed in early October
· Clubhouse floor refinishing completed. Advised to handle furniture with care
· Office painting is completed
· Reminder for end of summer cleanup for all residents
New Business
· Tips to get No soliciting signs for residents’ homes. Leslie is researching cameras for entrance, clubhouse and dock
· Potholes exacerbated by recent storms need to be fixed
· Installed bat houses waiting for their residents
· Motion to change street lighting to LED lighting was made, seconded and passed unanimously
· Florida State Statute 720 has been changed beginning in the 2025 year.
· Website for HOA must be maintained with governing documents, rules and regulations and monthly minutes
· All board members must complete a four-hour class each year
· City of DeBary Land development Code regarding RVs Boat and trailer placement on residential lots has changed
General Business
· The slate for the 2025 Board election will be posted in early October
· All estate sales must be approved by the Board
· Stickers for residents’ vehicles was discussed. No motion
Committee Reports
· Architectural Control Committee: Residents are reminded that Committee must approved any work that impacts the house exterior
· Calendar: Current.
· Clubhouse: no report
· Dock: 5 sections are left to repair when the rains finish
· Grounds: grounds are saturated
· Library: organized
· Pool: in good condition
· Roads: a total mess. Noble Construction will look into fixing pot holes
· Social: Bingo, Bunco, Sewing Group and Game Day thriving. A Halloween event is in planning
